Our Lough Derg FC Fundraiser

Your contribution makes a big difference. Thank you

At Lough Derg FC we strive to be progressive on and off the playing field. In our first 18 years we have seen continuous growth in membership and playing numbers across boys and girls from the very youngest to the not so young. We are proud of what we have achieved together as a club and a community, both in terms of how we play the game and the club and facilities we have built together through volunteer effort and community support.

To continue to grow and develop and put additional playing facilities in place to provide a sports and recreation outlet for our entire community, we need your financial support. Our members and community have always been very generous in their support of the club and now we are delighted to launch a Grassroots Fundraiser online weekly lotto that will enable us to put in place a sustainable fundraising model that will allow us to invest in our future. We need additional playing facilities so that everyone who wants to can play the beautiful game.

Every week someone in our community will win a spot prize and who knows, the Jackpot prize which starts at €1,000 and increases weekly if not won to €10,000 will be won from our supporters and it could be you. With this fundraiser in place the club can also win as we are entered into a monthly draw for a “money can’t buy” sporting experience with the FAI.

Having recently been the first club in the North Tipperary Schoolchildrens Football League to gain FAI Clubmark Quality Certification, Lough Derg FC is delighted to be one of 10 clubs nationally chosen by the SFAI to pilot this Grassroots Fundraiser. Just like on a football field, let's take this chance and make it count.

Please subscribe to our Lotto online. Please ask your friends and family to support our lotto. Grannies, Grandads, current players, ex players, supporters, friends and family from far and wide. Teamwork makes this dream work. Together we can win big!

With over 25 squads we need additional playing facilities. While we have a top class championship standard pitch in Clarisford park, we need another playing pitch. We have rental arrangements on Clarisford 3G and a short term rental agreement on a Birdhill FC pitch on Dublin Road. We have training pitch use due to the generosity of Ballina NS and St Annes Community College.

To ensure we can meet the continued growth in demand for sport in our locality, we need to invest in additional facilities. We have so far explored a number of options without being able to complete a deal. Having funds and a revenue stream to back our ambition is the key to us securing a deal that will ensure we can continue to play a central part in the sporting life of Killaloe Ballina and environs.
