As some of you no doubt know, in 2022 Ashford Rovers AFC celebrates its 50th year in existence, and what a 50 years it has been!

Who would have thought that from humble beginnings back in 1972 that the club would grow to win two Wicklow Cups, two Premier leagues and a Premier Cup in five short seasons, and in our juvenile section, currently hold both U14 & U15 Premier league trophies.

Of course trophies are only a small part of our story, what we are really proud of is the role we have played in turning so many young children into fine footballers and even more importantly, into fine adults.

It’s this community spirit that we want to continue to grow for many years to come, and to do that we need your help.

 

In conjunction with the FAI & SFAI, we are delighted to launch a Grassroots Fundraiser online weekly lotto with a starting jackpot of €1,000 eventually rising to €10,000 if not won.

Money from this lotto will go towards the upgrading of our clubhouse, the resurfacing of our Astro Pitch and the upgrading of our floodlight system
